A Politically Exposed Person (PEP) is someone who currently holds, or has held, a prominent public position, either in the UK or overseas. This can include certain senior government, political, judicial, military or other public roles.
In some circumstances, family members or known close associates of a PEP may also be subject to the same checks.
Being a PEP does not mean that you have done anything wrong or that there is any concern about you personally. PEP checks are standard checks carried out by organisations such as Housing Hand to help us meet our compliance and regulatory obligations.

It should take no longer than 30 seconds to complete. Once we have received your response, we will assess the information provided and let you know if anything further is required.
