How is Renters Rights going to impact me as a tenant?

Most tenancies will no longer be fixed term, which will give you more flexibility if you wish to move out earlier than planned. You will be able to hand in a 2 months' notice to end your tenancy at any point. PBSA tenancies, which are exempt from Renters Rights will continue to be fixed.
