Applying with Housing Hand is quick and straightforward. Just follow these four easy steps:
1. Before your apply, make sure you have:
- Proof of ID: This can be a passport, drivers license or a national ID document
- Proof of study for students: A correspondence from University, UCAS form or a Student ID.
- Proof of income from professionals: The last 3 months worth of payslips or bank statements showing your income.
- Co-signer details: This is someone we can get in touch with if we can't contact you. They can' t be an existing Housing Hand customer. Find out more about co-signers here.
2. Apply
- Create an account and follow the step-by-step instructions in your dashboard.
- You'll be assigned a Customer Experience Officer to guide you through the process and ensure your application is completed smoothly.
3. Pay onboarding fee
- Pay your onboarding fee to begin processing your application.
- You won't need to pay anything else until you move in. (Unless you choose to pay upfront!)
- The sooner you pay, the faster we can process your application!
4. Get approved
- We approve 98% of applicants. Just make sure you provide all the required information.
- We verify your details internally and communicate directly with your accommodation provider and co-signer.
- Providing false or incomplete information will delay your application, so accuracy is important.
5. Move in
- Once approved, you're ready to secure your property and move in!
- If you're chosen to pay monthly, your subscription will begin on your tenancy start date. Please note that your monthly payments may be longer than your tenancy agreement depending on the agreement you've signed up for.
