What happens if I miss a rent payment?

If Housing Hand is standing as your UK guarantor and you cannot pay your rent, your accommodation provider will invoice us directly. We will then make the payment on your behalf to ensure your tenancy remains secure. 

What happens next? 

• We will contact you (or your co-signer, if necessary) to arrange a repayment plan. 
• You will be required to repay the full rental amount covered by Housing Hand. 
• Late payment fees may apply, and missing payments could also affect your credit rating.
