What does Only My Share cover include?

Only My Share covers you if your housemates' do not pay your share of the rent and the landlord holds you responsible under a joint and several liability agreement. 

Coverage Details: 

• Up to £20,000 - If your housemate fails to pay their share of the rent, Only My Share covers the amount, so you don't have to. 

• Covers you for each month you are inn tenancy as long as you are subscribed. If you move and you have a new tenancy but want to keep the cover, you will need to renew your cover, which is basically a new quick and easy application.

• Available for tenants and guarantors - The policy ensures both you and your guarantor are protected. 

• What's Not Covered? 

• Personal possessions - Your belongings are not covered under this guarantee. We recommend taking out separate contents insurance to protect your items.
• Property damage - Damage to the property is not included. We advise getting adequate cover either with possessions insurance or tenant's liability insurance to cover this risk. 

The Only My Share policy is available for just £16 per month, providing financial security in shared housing without the risk of paying for housemates' unpaid rent.
